Job Details: Monday through Friday This is an on-site role based in our White Plains, NY office.

Office hours: 8:00 am to 4: 45 p.m.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year; commensurate with experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Construct test sets and cable assemblies from schematics and assembly drawings, utilizing both hole and SMT technology.
  • Maintain a clean, organized lab environment that provides a shared resource to lab technicians and engineers.
  • Conduct routine calibration of electronic instruments, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinate external calibration for equipment that cannot be calibrated in-house.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Read, implement, and provide feedback on electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with electrical lab tools to construct and assemble surface mount and through-hole technologies, aircraft harnesses, and test equipment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with machine shop tools such as drill presses and mills.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lab technicians and engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO or AS9100 standards within the lab.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all lab equipment and activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Associate degree in electronics, avionics, or a related field with a solid understanding of electronic circuit theory.
  • Proficient in reading and editing schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools.
  • Previous experience as an electronics technician in an ISO or AS9100 facility is preferred.
