Job Details: Office hours: 7:45 am to 8:15 p.m. Monday through Friday in office. Hourly rate: $23- 30 per hour. " Salary commensurate with experience"

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • conventional milling machines,
  • conventional & hardinge lathes,
  • grinding machines and
  • drilling tapping machines required.
  • Geometric Tolerance and Dimensioning
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Experience interpreting blueprints: Technical drawings and production plans.

  • Quality control: Experience with calipers and micrometers to verify that finished parts meet required tolerance.

  • Setting up machines and loading programs. (Plus) we will provide training.

  • Monitor production: Tracking key performance metrics like cycle times, part counts, spindle uptime, and downtime reasons.

  • Machine maintenance: Light daily maintenance such as cleaning tools and keeping the work area safe.

  • Efficiency: Minimize idle times and maintain process flow while on duty.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and/or operation a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a small job shop facility.
